This must be what the guy from Man Vs. Food feels like

This past weekend, Alana and I were looking for a place to grab lunch and ended up in Queen Village at Famous 4th Street Deli. The deli is your quintessential Jewish Deli. For a complimentary appetizer we were brought three different flavors of pickles, all were good. After looking at the exhaustive menu we finally decided on a Pastrami Reuben and a Corned Beef Sandwich. The sandwiches were a bit expensive and we now know why. THEY ARE HUGE!! I could barely eat half of mine and, honestly, should have stopped well before that. Alana couldn't even finish half. Keep in mind we were both starving when we entered. The sandwiches, though, were phenomenal. Maybe the best I've ever had.

Dessert at Mong Kok Station

After Banana Leaf, we stayed in Chinatown and ventured over to my favorite pastry shop, Mong Kok Station. We had a couple of yummy-good delicacies and a few bubble-milk tea drinks to wash it all down.

At Banana Leaf with Jean

With Alana's Mom in town not too long ago, we decided to grab some dependable Malaysian/Japanese food from The Banana Leaf. As always, the food was good and service quick. Here are some pics.
